Delete Cookies in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x

Below are the step-by-step instructions for deleting cookies in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x (also referred to as IE6).

1. Open Internet Explorer and click Tools in the menu (top of the window).
2. Click Internet Options from the drop down menu that appears.
3. On the small window that appears, click the tab labeled General.
4. To delete all cookies, follow steps 1 and 2 below, otherwise, skip ahead to step 5:
   1. In the Temporary Internet Files section, click Delete Cookies.
   2. Click OK to close the Internet Options window.
5. If you wish to delete only specific cookies, follow these steps:
   1. Click the Settings button.
   2. Click View Files.
   3. In the list that appears, select the cookies you want to delete (hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard to select multiple cookies).
   4. Press the Delete key on your keyboard to delete the selected cookies.
   5. Press OK on the dialog boxes that appear (there may be more than one).
